1911 repair?

maybe try Clarence Weatherby of bumblebee customs out near Prince George.

1911 safeties are easy to install, lots of YouTube videos on how.

YouTube it, it’s fairly straight forward to fit a safety if your are handy with some basic hand tools. That said I haven’t got around to fitting the ambi safety I picked up from Dlask last spring lol. Too many irons in the fire but it looks like it’s not to hard if you have patience and attention to detail.

I would only send my gun there if I could be guaranteed that Joe and only Joe worked on my gun. YMMV

and I guarantee he wouldn't be, he built my guns 25 years back, I can't see him still doing it. Maybe QC, but I even doubt that.

He built some amazing guns back then, but took forever to break in due to the tight tolerances.

Yea..I’ve dealt with Clarence too...nice guy..I only recommended dlask because he is kinda local to op..Clarence does nice work..done a couple of f/o front sight mills for me...
