1911 single stack 9mm mags?

Chip McCormick has come out with 10 rnd model now too, and at the shot show, claimed they've tested them tons and work flawlessly...
not that I'd expect them to tell me they jam every other shot, but they claim they're great..so I'm going to try those myself, as I like their .45 mags.

Both Tripp and Wilson models are good... both have issues in one gun or another... all the same, pretty much.
 
While doing some dry firing and mag change, i have seen a problem with my tripp mag.
When they fall and knock the floor, the plastic basepad unclip and move forward about a quarter of inch.
Someone experienced this problem?
How do you solved it?

1) put something on the ground to cushion the drop
2) if the mag basepad moves out of place, put it back when you pick it up. If this is overly bothersome, wrap a piece of tape down the side of the mag around the base pad and up the other side (only an inch or so up each side)
3) The aluminum pads do not stay in place particularly better, but they survive the drop much better
