1911 slide grinding

Hey all.

I have a question about my 1911.

I have a SW1911PD;

I just finished a partial take down and lubing and when I rack the slide slowly I feel a slight grind. The last time i took it down the same thing happened, but it seemed to go away.... If anyone can offer any advice on what may be the problem I would appreciate it.

Is the grinding during the entire slide travel?
Is the grinding present only during the lock-up and disengagement of the locking lugs?

Field strip it again and clean frame rails, barrel link and barrel lugs, the slide rails and the slide's lug recesses. Get all of the gunk and varnish out. Inspect the disconnector. Inspect the locking lugs and recesses for deformity. Re-lubricate well, as in very, very well, and re-assemble. Is the grinding still present?
