Ruger makes a 22 that is patterned on teh 1911:
All Ruger 22/45's (including Hunter) have the same grip shape, feel, and familiarity of the famous 1911 .45 caliber pistol. The perfect low-cost trainer, it is ideal as a low-cost pistol, allows for quiet practice, and provides shooters with the familiar and preferred 1911 grip.

I've been told that TSE carries the Kimber/Ciener 22LR conversion kit.
As for above mentioned Ruger's with same grip angle and such...the conversion kit may indeed run about the same price as a dedicated 22LR pistol (eg Ruger mkIII or a Browning Buckmark)...but in my opinion the conversion kit is still a good thing to consider because you are able to practice on the same pistol, trigger, overall feel of that particular 1911.
