I have acquired a nice Custom STI Eagle 5.5, but I find the trigger pull just a little too light for my rookie involvement in the firing line excitement of IPSC shooting. I would like to increase the pull from the current 2 lb to 3 - 3.5 lb.
My reading suggests that trigger pull in the 1911 is a multi-factor issue, involving the inter-play of a number of springs. Is there a simple way to add just to the trigger pull without compromising the currently flawless reliability of the pistol?
