TIme to replace the trigger in my STI Trojan. It is a government length with a few modifications...... currently in 9*23.
Lots of custom goodies.
Currently it has a custom sculpted Kings Short Aluminum trigger. It was originally built for very small fingers/hands, now it is time to fit it to my hands therfore it needs a LONG trigger, with a smooth action. My other 1911 has a DLASK Magnesium Trigger that I quite like.
I'm not worried about price or other issues, just want the smoothest, lightest and most comfortable trigger I can get. (Yes I realize that the trigger pull is maily regulated by sear spring, mainspring and the fit and finish of fire control parts, however trigger fit, smooth action and verticle / horizontal play do have an affect - plus it must feel nice!)
Question for all of the 1911 fans:
What would you consider to be the premier 1911 Trigger to install.
STI, DLASK, Greider, Kings, Castillo's Bearing Trigger, Wilson, Nowlins, C&S, Ed Brown, Nighthawk, EGW, Infinity Tri Glide......... Suggestions?
