I just got a Norinco 1911A1. The gun has been shot lots. I also got the Brownells 1911 catalog, I am looking to upgrade the springs and trigger. But there is so many parts avaliable. What parts/Brand should i get???

I realise there is a $100 restriction. So the parts would have to fall into that limit.

Thanks

.45acp? When I got my STI Spartan (new), I changed mag release for extended with a button, main spring for 17# and recoil to 14#.
Brownells may not ship to Canada some parts depending on what part, manufacturer and if they are registered with US State Dept.
You can buy the same parts here in Canada or directly from Wolff springs.

Everybody has preferences when it comes to what a 1911 trigger should look like, and your Brownells catalog gives you a pretty good idea of the variety that is available.

It's your pistol. Buy what you like.

If you like the STI trigger, and you want STI parts, you can buy from Freedom Ventures.

For 1911 parts, don't go Brownells immediately. Support your local gunsmith and buy from them first. Most gunsmiths have lots of 1911 parts in stock. Some of them may even give you a tip or two on how the work should be done.

Joe Dlask once tuned my trigger for free because he couldn't stand the way I installed it.

Hi
Brownells have been good to deal with. As long as your order does not exceed 100.00
in gun parts they will ship. They have split an order in two for me to ship.
