1911 vs Glock and 9mm vs 45

I've got 1911's in .22lr; .38 ACP/Super; 9mm, .40 S&W, 10mm & .45ACP

Glocks in 9mm & .40 S&W. They all have "their place".

For a .45 ACP I prefer the 1911... The Glock 21 grip not comfortable for my hands.

While I enjoy shooting both the Glock & 1911 in 9mm the BHP MKiii is still my "go to" for a double or single stack 9mm.

There you go! :)

I'm not really sure what .45 has over 9mm, so I go 9mm
It's also cheaper, with .45 costing similar to that of .223 sometimes
9mm is also is capable of more capacity. Using a Glock .40 mag in a 9mm will yield 13 rounds, legally.
I also prefer striker fired over DA or SA, so Glock for me.
