1911 vs Glock and 9mm vs 45

Nothing wrong with a 1911 in 9mm.. It still sucks compared to a Glock in 9mm but I see it as an economical way to get into 1911's. I think some 1911 purists have issues with it..

Nothing wrong with a 1911 in 9mm. Remember the 1911 is a derivative of the M1902 which was designed for the 38ACP. I suspect that the basic 1911 feed ramp system is better in 9mm than 45. Waiting for the flames....

For .45; 1911.
For 9mm, CZ style
Nothing wrong with Glock, but as a child half the "toy" guns I had were plastic, the other half, zinc.

Real guns are neither plastic nor zinc.
 
Glock 21, it's my go too, the low barrel axis is hard to beat. My 1911 in 45acp is really nice however I can definitely see the appeal of a 9mm 1911.

The 1911 is built for 45ACP. 9mm 1911s have only become viable because of ramped barrels and the first dependable 9mm magazine (Wilson Combat).

Becouse one is centerfire and the other is rim fire but thats not the point,he said why "why have a capacity nutered 9mm" the why is because I can shoot 2x as much. That's my reason for a 9mm 1911 if I could afford to shoot .45 as much as I could 9mm then I would shoot .45 more. But there's nothing wrong with owning more then one at one point I had 1911's in .22,.380,9mm.40,.45. and .38 super. I have trimmed it back to 9mm and .22 because I'd much rather shoot my guns as much as possible then having them sit in the safe because I can't afford the ammo.
