1911a1 norc rail options

I did a search and didn't find any reviews on this so I figure I better ask. I want to mount a rail on my
1911a1 norc I know ncstar makes a clamp on rail, does anyone use it? Is it durable? I want to mount a flashlight/strobe/laser on it. Also I was reading on another forum some guys use double sided sticky tape and a regular rail, anyone try that yet? Ideas?

I have no shortage of tools and I'm not scared of work. Is there a step by step on the install out there and where can I purchase it?

Surefire makes a mount that clips on, uses the slide release to hold it on, kind of pricey though.

if you want a crappy part, go with a cheap clamp on

if you want to do it right (and its not hard) then get one you will screw on after drill and tap

The sticky tape had me confused a little bit, yeah ill
Go Novak because it's only 20 bucks more than NCstar one, only problem is the Novak doesn't look like they ship to canada is there a Canadian distributor

Was just searching and came across another forum saying that Armco has some, are they any good? I emailed the Armco about them
