i had a pin fall out of my nork when i was shooting it. it fell out into my hand when i ejected ithe magazine. its about a milimeter and a half thick and 9mm long. i took the gun completely apart and i cant find where it would go. all the parts that are in the marstar parts diagram are there. the gun functions fine and doesnt do anything weird.

About the only pin that fits that description is the pin that holds the ejector in place on the frame (although 9mm sounds a bit short for it),but why (or how) that would fall out when your shooting is pretty difficult to explain.

Field strip the gun. I am sure you will find what is missing. It looks like the mainspring cap pin to me. Try dropping the mainspring housing out fo the frame. If the spring and cap come out of the housing that is the problem.

Is the gun new? There is only one pin that looks like that in a 1911. Could be an extra that got caught in the frame when assembled. I say that because there is no way the pin could come out while the mainspring is in the frame.

Also is the mag new? If it was mixed in with some parts before you purchased it the pin may have been stuck in the mag body until it fell out.
