Yes everyone should be able to strip a 1911 with their eyes closed. It is a fun gun to tinker with.

I recall the first few times I detail stripped a 1911 I thought it was a major pain in the..... Now I think it's kinda cool. I have even been known to take apart & clean the gunk out of friend's 1911's. I especially like old Colts and anything WWII USGI.
