1911's/AR's are like rabbits....

NAA is absolutely correct with his keen eye for 1911's. Ya gotta admire that. They are indeed exactly as he described. Although a mint correct Ithaca example seems non existent here in Canada. Or at least they are scarce. I've seen so many hacked Ithacas and maybe only one or two mint examples. I know they are out there but people are hogging them!

Any serious collector would love to have a Singer. Recently a Singer was auctioned off in the US for a reported $80,000.00+ Not attainable for me. Now a UMC....? That would indeed complement the herd.

Ah yes, the WWI 1911's to get....

Colt 1911 commercial [because some of us were in the Great War before the US decided to show up in 1917], Colt 1911 with "W" serial number prefix mfg for Britain, the Colt 1911 US Army, the Colt 1911 US Navy, the Springfield Armory 1911, the Remington-UMC 1911 and of course the holy grail of the WWI 1911's and the rarest 1911 of all, the North American Arms [NAA] 1911 [only ~ 100 were actually made].
