1911's in .40 cal

1911 in .40 S&W

I had a .40 S&W barrel fitted to one of my Colt Delta's.

Best of both worlds....

I'm waiting to see if Ruger or Norinco brings out their 1911 in 40S&W.

Just got my Norinco 1911 in 9mm and already have it in 45ACP.

Good guns for the money!

I know STI makes a 1911 chambered in .40 cal, who are some other manufactures, and what are your thoughts...ie. quality, reliability etc..

Thanks for your input!

STI Trojan's are very nice for the money if you're looking for a SS.

I know Kimber have lovely print adds, but I'm getting less than spectacular reports from south of the border about out of the box problems.

We'll have to see if the bulk of the Ruger 1911 .45 ACP's show up first.... :(

call wolverine and ask them to bring in the S.A.M. 1911's in 40, very pleased with my 9mm and @ the price of a 5" from them nothing can touch them. Springfeild made some a few years back. You could call CRAFM and build an SV?

A Norkie 1911 in .40 S&W would be a most welcome addition to my modest 1911 family.

Free brass in a serious but fun to shoot caliber is the biggest enticement for me, not saying the 9mm 1911 is not fun though.

An S.A.M. 40 should be in my price range.
Didn't know they made them, till I looked on their website.
I'll give Wolverine a call.
Thanks for the suggestion.:)
