1911's Pics Thread

Gotta love those guys that show a pic of a nice 1911 with a trigger lock on. Get a grip. Maybe we should have a pic thread of the nicest trigger locks.

Meh its like the youtube videos where they always prove to the camera that the gun is safe because otherwise people freak out about safety, or they dont feel like finding the key.

Here's some pictures of a couple unmarked Norincos from the Canada Ammo deal that I've worked on a bit. The first one I use for IPSC classic, the other one is set up with a 460 Rowland barrel and comp. I still have a bunch of work to smooth the slide on it and change the sights to a fiber front and Bomar style rear.

Cerakoted a couple of mine. Just waiting on my Fiber Optics from Freedom Ventures but aside from that she's all done for Classic. I know gaudy patterns and colours aren't most peoples thing but I enjoy it myself!

Here's my bro-in-law's USMC roll-marked CQBP pistol that he acquired before they took out the Single Shot Exemption (SSE) in California. I visited him 2 weeks ago and was able to see some of his collections. I really like the serial number on this one.

Going back up north, I had ordered 2 sets of A1 grips from simpsonltd and they are hit and miss. One panel would not fit and had already shrunk, another one had a crack, neverthless, they sent me the replacements and it turned out great. I had replaced all its small parts from vintage A1s years ago.
The piece below is the range gun. Btw, these are Colt O1911A1 WW2 repros.

Looks awesome! Very clean. How's she shoot, and how's that tigger?

Shoots very good, And as for the trigger I've never had an issue with it, but I've never put a pull gauge on it either, Only Thing I would change now is maybe put a FO sight on it, But this one hasn't let me down, Round count must be in the tens of thousands by now.
