1911's Pics Thread

It's been a while since I posted any 1911's so I'm overdue. Here's my new to me Kimber Pro Covert I found on the EE. I waited a longtime for one to become available.

It's a Special Combat Government - O1970CY. Great looking gun, Colts top offering, and with a premium price tag to match. Think ArmsEast has one in stock.

Popped few rounds @ the range last weekend.
Was very satisfied with spent casing's rim with minimal dents on a few. Probably that was ejection without mag inserted and casing still ejected well going pass my back. This is after tuning the extractor.

Colt WW2 Repro with wartime trigger, msh, hammer, safety and grips.

Woooo! Nice collection. It would be tough to bring these out of the safe on range day. :p

The Wilson gets 100-150 rounds per week put through her - it is a joy to shoot. Ed Brown about half that amount of rounds - the 'chainlink' grip can be annoying (in my hand).

Still waiting for the children saving registration papers for the Cabot. This is an amazing piece of hardware that I cannot wait to take to the range. I have not ever seen a pistol with such close tolerances, fit and finish.

I'm in love with 1911's - there are 4 more in the safe........

Colt 1911 Competition
W/ Magwell installed

Note*** I just installed these Artisan grips, since it is Canadas 150th birthday

I really like the look of those new Colt's - nice grips you put on it!

My first 1911!
Colt combat elite
Really easy to shoot compare to my 92fs. Not that I don't like to shoot my 92 but this one as a little something!
