Swapped the slim grips for some full size to see if I prefer that.
Verdict......yes I do. I wasn’t too sure if I would so $10 shipped was hard to pass up. Thanks jza for the great deal.
I think they look pretty good too.
I also cleaned up the SAM a bit.....

Another new acquisition for me as well, the full size 1911 in 45ACP Yes, it's a Norinco 1911A1, but I have high hopes for it since it is their latest upgraded model with:
Three dot sighting system (ajustable rear sight)
- Extended slide release
- Front slide serrations
- Ambidextrous safety
- Raised anti glare rib on slide
- Large beavertail grip safety
- Lite weight competition hammer
- Lightened target trigger
- Full length guide rod
- Extended mag release
It's a fair bit bigger than my Browning Black Label 380 Pro, as you can see.
Oh, and I didn't like the black rubber grips so I carved and checkered my own from a block of walnut I had.
