Very nice NAA. I guess you like Pachmayr grips ;)

Yes, I do for shooting. :D

There's nothing in looks like a nice set of double diamond hardwoods but the checkering bites into the hands with loads like full house 10mm. And even a steady diet of .45 ACP hardball.

Usually the factory supplied 'wrap-around' grips like the stock Colt ones that come with the Delta medallions in them don't have a metal insert like the Pachs do. Giving an added little weight and sturdiness to the grips.

Where I can I pick up the older sets of 'combat' Pachmayrs.... flat sides with no thumb swells....to go on the 'shooters'.....

I'm a big fan of Micarta / G10 Grips.

As far as rubber wraparounds go at least you are not using Hogues :)

It would be cool to get a couple sets of G10's with the Delta medallions inset....

As for Hogues for 1911's, the only ones I will have are the flat side panels, as these on my NP29:

Nice 1911's Paul.......... I find the '43 Colt of particular interest.... I don't think I've seen one before with so much 'meat' around the trigger guard...

Dannyair, how do you like the PM7 compared to other 1911's? Is that a 10mm? I heard good things about these guns.

I love it. It's probably the nicest 1911 I own and it shoots very well. Very high quality manufacturing and machining and a beautiful finish. This is one 1911 that should be on everyone's list of must haves especially for the price. It's a 45.
