Wife was out of the country on holidays the last couple weeks, so I got spendy. Finally own a Colt's Super .38 I can take out and shoot! Thanks Prophet River (pic from their website, where I bought it).



Makes a pretty good mate for my old one, which isn't really a shooter (recycled pic). Owned it for a couple years now, but haven't brought myself to shoot it. Bought some ammo but never dropped the hammer. Not a mint example, but its a first year of production pistol so I'm leaning towards keeping it in the condition its in. Bought the new one so I could experience what its like to be Dillinger.

Minus the criminal activity of course ;)

 
here's the Norinco Canam Government 1911-A1 i bought as a project guinea pig before I attacked my Springfield with a dremel. About $100 of parts plus a bunch of reshaping and recontouring.

"Youve arrived" as they say nice shoes..Brooks brothers labels still mean something in some circles.. and congrats on the STI niece piece..
 
My customized 1911 that belonged to a gunsmith friend and fellow shooter. It was done up by him for his centrefire paper puncher.
