1911's... Which one?

Unfortunately Brownells does not carry the ones I wanted. Wilson G10 flat black/gray starburst pattern grips.

very nice :)

About 15 odd years ago, I used to like Para and even considered getting a 1911 from them but glad I've read a bit on current 1911s on CGN! I ran across this vid on Youtube. Is this feeding issue normal with Paras or 1911s in general?

More so with Paras and I am assuming yes but I have never had this with Springfields, Sig, or STI 1911s...

I made a similar choice a little while ago. Was tempted with a Kimber (and I've had Colts before) but the Kimber seemed overpriced for what it was.
Loved the look of the new Sig 1911's, and ordered the model I wanted.
Great fit and finish, excellent value for money and crazy accurate. Very happy with my choice :)

I ended up going with a Kimber, I just preferred the look of the more traditional 1911 styling but man, the Sig has never left my thoughts and will prob be my next full size.

My opinion is that if cost isn't a concern than Wilson is the way to go. For a cost concern go with STI. Patrick Sweeney wrote a 1911 book called The Gun Digest Book of the 1911. It has two volumes but the 2nd volume is a rehash of the first so forget it. Dlask in Canada is supposted to make a good custom 1911.
