This rifle has a hex receiver, barrel marked with a lot of Cyrillic script and 1914
Now the sights have me puzzled.
On the left side is:
4,6 8 10 and 12, but they are all struck out.
On the right side is 2, 3 ,4 5 1/2, 7, and 8 1/2
Are those the old "arshin" numbers on the left and meters on the right? I seem to remember reading something about that years ago.
I was given this years ago and finally picked up some ammunition in charger clips. Can you load singly shoot the gun without the clips?. Can you load the magazine without a clip?
It has SA in small letters in a box on the side of the breech, does this mean it was Finnish issue?
This one was never issued and the bore cleaned up really well.
Need a bayonet, anyone have one?
