Ok its a bubba but it has some interesting markings, barrel is not original to
the rifle but the bolt and reciever have matching numbers. Lots of markings
on the barrel knox.

Picture 1 notice bubba's fine craftmanship

now interesting that there are what appears to be C^A markings that were
pinged out on the barrel. and there are both BSA and EFD inspector stamps

this on shows the R for rust and you can clearly see the date 22 partialy
covered by the C^A stamp. It looks like the pinged out marking was also a
Canadian C^A but its hard to tell.

and finally a pic of the butt socket.

Interesting enough there are no FR or FTR markings, and since the barrel
serial number does not match the reciever and bolt I can only assume that
the barrel was removed from another rifle that was beyond repair and used to
fix this one. Not in the pictures but teh rear site ramp is also EFD marked.

Discussion :D

The headspace is likely bad too.

good thing I have head space gauges ;)

and actually of all the mismatched enfields that I have picked up over the years only 2 have failed the no go gauge, not bad really.

without checking I suspect that withteh matching bolt and reciever that this one will pass.
