OK fellow Browning nutz . Have any of you done the spade grip mod ?
As you can see I have the easy part almost done . Looking for ideas on a trigger set up .

I got just a bit further than you have, bt never completed mine. I was lucky in that I found original 50 cal grips and brackets. I use the Canadian arctic cocking handle on mine. The spade grip installation would interfere with the operation of the cocking handle.

Got to think up some kind of linkage & make a paddle . Was hoping some one might have blue print or drawing .Guess I'll check out 1919.com

That's pretty much the way I went. Since the initial design, I was lucky and a 50 cal paddle came my way, so the mechanism is in for a re-design. Luckily, it is just metal, and it is easy to add or remove metal as required to a project like this.

I don't mean to resurrect this thread, but i finally found the site where i saw some spade designs.

Hope this can be of some help!

edit: May i also suggest a TIG welder. TIG is definitely the best welding style for firearm parts, as you get a very clean penetrating weld with absolutely no spatter to clean up. If you are around Langley, i can do any TIG welding required free of charge, i can show you a sample of my work if you wish to drop by my school :). Anything for marks lol, and i can assure you i don't do a sloppy job, i TIG weld my own gun parts.
