I just got this one home Thursday. It is a 100% matching rifle. But, one noteworthy item is the last three digits of the SN has been also
stamped to the right of the SN. I have seen pictures of fm/23 Experimental Match Rifles stamped the same. But this is an M96.
Any thoughts?

Nice rifle Steve. A good probability that it was an extra FM-23 Target rifle receiver that was not used to make a target rifle. The Swedes, being very thrifty, could have used these left over receivers to make up part of their 1923 required rifle production. The target rifles were similarly numbered.

Welcome to Canada.

Thanks Buffdog. That is what I think after reading Crown Jewels on these. I've now got most of the rifles made in the low production years.
Got the 1922, 1923, 1924, and the 1925. Still want a 1921 and a 1914. I can find them, but you know I gotta find the best condition one.
