193rd Annual TCRC EGG SHOOT -Results posted

TWIN CITY RIFLE CLUB 193RD ANNUAL EGG SHOOT SEPT. 2010

As the story begins.....it was a dark and stormy morning!!!
Well another Egg Shoot successfully completed and despite the 30 k+ winds, cool to cold temps and drizzle to downpours, some VERY impressive results.
To recap, there were 15 eggs to shoot with just 15 rounds in 15 minutes with 5 eggs at 300 yards and 10 at distances from 100 to 220.The eggs at 300 counted for 2 points and all others for 1.
We completed 4 relays and required a 5th for a tie breaking shootoff in Custom Class.
The BBQ lunch (thanks to BBQ MASTER KEN T) was held after the 3rd relay and the sausages were expertly cooked and served in good company.Regardless of the HIGH humidity that continued to fall on and off, no one seemed to mind(Covered firepoints really are worth the efforts to build)
The following is a summary of results for both Custom and Factory Class Shooters.

CUSTOM CLASS
KRIS D 17 (1ST PLACE MEDAL WINNER by tie breaking shootoff )
MURRAY 17
KEVIN M 17 (2nd attempt & didn’t bring enough ammo for the shootoff)

As you can see, even under some of the most challenging wind, rain and TCRC windsnake conditions ,there were some very impressive results and a great number of eggs were literally vaporized.
Congratulations to Kris D and Jan M for their 1st Place finishes and to all the shooters who braved the conditions to come out and have a fun day of egg bustin.
Thanks to Paul W for all his running around in the rain .
Regards
Gord O
