1940 42 Luger

Inspired by the recent post from kjohn, here's my p08...

All the serialized parts are matching and as far as I can tell everything is original. This pistol was probably carried by some desk jockey until it was liberated. The holster appears original, both mags are original and matching. Don't know the back history, unfortunately. Enjoy! (No, I'm not obscuring the serial.)

Awesome condition!! I Want!! Hey... just for my education, when did they lose the 'straw' finish on the small parts? WW1 Lugers had it... WW2 obviously not...

That's a very nice piece of kit. All the bits with it. I have an example - same manufacturer, same year - but only one matching mag and no holster. I'm envious.

This one shouldn't be going anywhere unless we get a complete gun ban. It was passed to me under a 12.7 and should be able to pass it on to one of my kids.
