I have that rifle that finally look pretty interesting. Looking st the serial number 20XX, it seems to be one of the first ones made in 1940 and it look like it was made yesterday. The rear peep sight(redfield 75) is missing. Never shooted it. Probably very accurate. Someone else have experience with one of these or any more infos?
Thanks.

Nice rifle!
This summer I found a 513SA with the redfield peep set up. Hopefully you can track one down, complete the rifle and get shooting.
They have a reputation for great accuracy.

I was going to tell you to drill & tap it for bases, or a rail.
Then I was going to jump behind the couch and hide. :)

It's great to see it complete again, and ready to punch paper.
Enjoy!

I used to have a Target-Master which was a small step down from your rifle. It was a joy to shoot but I can’t keep them all. Thanks for sharing I never knew of the Match master.

I picked one of these 513T Matchmaster at a local gun show,it's in mint as in almost new condition, got it from an old collector who kept every thing he owns in mint condition,i had never heard of these before, until a friend picked up a 513S in cabelas used rack, crazy accurate, almost a match for my Mossberg 144LSB's,which are hard to beat by anything made today, short of specialized target rifles, the only Remingtons i collected before are Nylon 22's.,now i may try to find other nice Remingtons,
