1941 johnston rifle

.... one fell into my lap today. all main parts are there. barrel not cut. the wood however is in terrible shape pieces missing even. anyone have a parts gun in the closet? missing the buttplate and sling swivel aswell. any help or leeds would be most welcome

there is a fellow in USA . that offers a complete rebuilding service for those. he might sell you a set of wood. I need a set as well. I'll try and get his contact info.

They are an interesting rifle. Get Bruce Canfields book, a very good book to read.
