Did some fireforming today just for fun.
This is my baby. Has been in the family since big brother brought her home from a gun show way back in the 1970s. Was FTR in ~1956 so I figured someone thought she was worth saving way back at Lithgow. Aside from the buttplate & screws and the barreled action, everything else was scrounged up including the woodset. The Coachwood pieces are long gone. I will be keeping this one. Nice gentle shooting characteristic 'poom'
Ps: also has a windage adjustable rear sight - came in really handy today!
