1943 Inland M1 Carbine, non-refurb original

Hi,

I'm sharing some photos of my latest addition. I've been searching for an original WW2 M1 Carbine for over two years. Most readers will be familiar with the fact most M1 Carbines were re-fitted after WW2, not this one! Letting the experts be the judge

1943 M1 Carbine, Inland #596108.

Open to any thoughts on the rifle! She looks even better now after a decent cleaning

That's a VERY nice carbine Steve. Congratulations on finding it! I got a 1943 original Underwood last year after many years of searching . Bought and sold quite a few carbines before finding a fine specimen for my collection. A nice one is pretty tough to find at least in my neck of the woods. Thanks for sharing the photos.
