It took me some time and I spent way too much money bringing this rifle back to its original form. I bought parts on EBay where I got the unissued stock set from a guy in England ($250) , from Numrich (great service, not the greatest stock) and then finally Sarco. I sent a couple of emails to Sarco as they had a restoration parts set for $35!!! They didn't reply but one day I called and 15 days later my order was waiting for me at the PO. Don't hesitate to call Sarco they have the best deal on parts and if you call in, the will ship to Canada as long it is not bolt or barrel parts. I have an extra parts set in reserve to bring back to life a English made No.4 in the future. Anyways, I am happy with my result. It is a beautiful mix or wood and steel. It is a '43 Longbranch in memory and respect of my Grandfather who served with the Perth Regiment. He came back a damaged person and lived the remainder of his life with severe mental issues. Anyways here are the pictures, I wish they were better!
