In the prefix-month-year table there is a mistake in 1944 Mednogorsk prefixes, П (Latin P) is missing and thus one of the prefixes in table is incorrect (most likely К or С). If you have 1944 rifles in your collection, or pictures lying around please post here 2 pics from each rifle - serial (you can hide digits if you're sensitive, just leave letter prefix visible) and year. Thank you.
