I am looking at a 1950 SKS that is non-refurb and seems like new in every respect. But the extractor is not electro-penciled with the serial number like my other guns are.
Does the 1950 have the extractor numbered with all the other parts?
This gun has numbers on everything else and the original wood stock.

I think if the extractor is NOT electropenciled it's the original one.

I did have a refurbed SKS with the number electropenciled on the extractor, and I have a refurbed one now without numbers on the extractor.

Extrator, rear sight, gas tube, piston and in somes cases buttplate are always electro-penciled whenever the rifle is refurb or not. They do that because thoses parts are either too small or too thin to be stamped.
