This arrived from a dealer in Cambridgeshire, a client had bought it on Guntrader and I am his local registered dealer;
Its a very nice piece and despite having the Sako Butt plate it has no model nummber. It was rebarreled about 2 years ago into 6.5 x 55 and testing it today was great fun;
It also shot very well, both groups were Privi 139 grain, the cross was fmj, 4 in an inch and 1 flier;
139 grain soft points on the bench rest targets, again 1 flier, usually the 3rd or 4th shot as well;
I've just got off the phone to the chap who has bought it, I told him its a keeper. He wants to have the barrel screw cut and a moderator fitted but I told him to wait and see first, shoot it although its not going to be ruined he will enjoy it without a can on the end. his Steyr SSG is already fitted with a moderator and its so damn heavy.
