1951 Tula original barrel?

Would that be the original barrel or a refit replacement? Overall the gun looks like it didnt get fired much, but also its not numbers matching. THe gas tube has different numbers and doesnt look the same quality as the rest of the gun.

Is it chrome line and there should be two sets of numbers that don't match the serial. One is on the barrel lug. The other is on the forward part of the reciver bellow the stock line. Do they match?

I am to lazy to take it out of the ATI stock. I just bought this gun today and noticed the barrel. Its super shiny when I look down with a flashlight. THe crown is not in perfect condition though. Is it a huge deal to reset the crown?

It is a Russian refurb with the export molot markings. None of the mags match on these latest imports. The mags were probably swapped during the mag pinning process. The gas tube was likely replaced during refurb. It is a shooter sks that should go bang with each pull of the trigger. Unless something on the rifle is malfunctioning that you haven't mentioned, shoot it an have fun.

See how its shoots before you try to recrown it. Most likely there is nothing wrong with it as it is.

2014 Molot. Shot some that did not perform well. Doubles, not even milking the trigger, slam fires while firing pin channel is clean. The more I look at these the less I like it. POS!
