I was just cleaning the gas tube on one of my SKSs when I noticed a hole where it shouldn't be. Right where the large and small tubes marry up.
It's not rust. It looks like a badly done file job as part of the refurb process.
It's in a place that should shouldn't cause a reduction in gas pressure on the return rod or cause a return rod jam.
But it scares the hell out of me anyway. Is it a big deal to be put aside never to be used again or just ignore it?
Thanks for the help,
Ted
