Brownells for the pliers but the shipping cost bites

I made a set of castle nut pliers from a cheap mastercraft (Can tire) welding C-clamp type vice grips. Trying to post pics, with no success.

Success!!! If I was going to do this again I would spend less time with a bench grinder and more time with a file, as they are pretty soft. Also you can see where one jaw is bent slightly (again, soft).

Total cost was about $15.00, and took maybe 15 minutes.

And don't forget to remove the tiny little set screw that locks the castle nut in place, or you may bend the jaw of your home made castle nut pliers.

The Brownells pliers are pretty soft. I forgot about the spot weld on the Norc FH and nearly wrecked mine immediately. My bad for going at it like a gorilla I guess.
