I just picked up a 1956 Russian sks. All numbers match except the number on the bottom of the mag. I also do not see any refurb marks anywhere on the rifle. Looks very good so far. The best part is I paid $155 tax in at Canadian tire.

It looks like the SKS is priced differently at different locations. People have posted prices anywhere from $139-$229 depending on which province u live in.

If someone had SKS's on here for $139.00 they'd sell all day long...........................................................................;)

If you go back you
Might find the right mag on a different rifle. I've seen it here before. Seems they remove the mags to pin them and once in a while they put the wrong one back on.

CDN Tire in Orillia has them on for their 4 day sale for $139. 15 to begin with, and down they only have 1 left as of a few hours ago when I was last in to check. They're not the best quality Ive seen, but at that price plus the $50 cards yesterday it was VERY hard to argue with it lol.

Mr. K, I think I would be trying to buy all 15!! Great price!

I was surprised when I saw them for $155 tax in or $139 plus tax. At that price you can't really go wrong. So far I have not found any refurb marks and the bayonet is nice and shinny.
