Anyone own one of these?....I got one a few years ago when the US was dumping their stock to canadian dealers because they required the new safety on them instead of just the hammer. They have the 20 micro-grooves, only year these were made this way...I got an original in the box with the grease still on it....one of the most accurate short levers I have ever owned...1/2" groups @ 100....like to hear any common owners and pics too.Cheers!

Didn't P&D or someone get a shipment of NOS Marlins a couple years ago? IIRC they came direct from the Marlin factory.....

I do have a 1958 336, but it's an A model, 24" barrel and with gorgeous checkered wood and a raised cheekpiece. Also accurate, but no, not 1/2 MOA accurate. Mind you, it might not be the rifle's fault!

I'm a marlin guy, I love em,... I've shot lots of them, but 1/2 moa? I owned a highly accrurized 336 with a Ballard barrel that couldn't shoot half moa... Moa all day, but half? What the yell kinda scope did you bastardize it with? Was that locked into a shooting vise? I'm not buying. You may need to recalibrate your vernier man...

they wont let me post pics....newbie scum I guess....not that new though??:ar15:

For pics you need to sign up for a photobucket account, then just copy the IMG code over to here.

Yes, they did,...early in 2007...I ended up with 4 of them...two 1979 straight grip 45-70's, a Glenfield 30GT with 18-1/2" barrel & straight grip in 30-30...and, a 1964 336 SC in 219 Zipper.....all were NIB.

I think they got about 150 of them.
