1966 Ishapore 2A Enfield bayonet

I know another Enfield bayonet question . I read that a 1907 bayonet will fit a 1966 Ishapore 2A Enfield 762x51 . I bought a ross p1907 and no way will it fit . What fits this thing ??. Thanks .

A ross 1907 and an Enfield Pattern 1907 are two different bayonet.

You're looking for one of the various patterns of Indian made 1907 pattern bayonets.

India manufactured (at least) three versions of the 1907, the first being the "British" standard, the second being a shortened/cut down 1907, and the third being a new made 1907 in shortened form with a blade that did not have fullers.

It's rare to find an Indian 1907 bayonet full length, most were cut as they modified or manufactured shorter models.

India made bayonets and also got lots of them from Australia and the UK. You see shortened ones from India from all the makers as well.

Any pattern 1907 will fit.
