I recently acquired 3 winchester lever action rifles. One is a 1981 John Wayne Commemorative, in 32/40, unfired in the original styrofoam box with wrapper, wax paper, manual, hangtags, leather saddle ring strap, everything complete as it was sold new. Rarely out of the box, it is mint. It is a model 94 carbine, model #G9481JW, ser# JW 4984. Any idea what it's value is? I would like to find a box of the 1981 John Wayne ammo to have and display with the rifle. One of the others is a model 1894, octagon barrel in 30 WCF, ser #191389, which I believe is an 1899 production, it is in original but rough shape. The last a model 1892, octagon barrel in 25-20 WCF, ser #255434, 1904 production I believe, slightly better shape than the 30 WCF, original but obviously used. Any ideas on value, or who I could direct these questions to?

Pockrts, I looked up the J W special you have and that gun in the USA sells right now for $1500.00, now the chance of someone in canada giving you $1500.00 us dollars for that gun are some what limited, and the other two folks would need to see good quality photos to determine their worth. FS

As I recall, the las John Wayne that sold at Haynes auctions sold for around $1000.00 In the last year or so the Win commemoratives seem have come back up a bit in price.
