1984 CZ-75 w/ factory matt finish

I've read about the painted finish on these guns but have little information on the factory matt finish that some guns came with in the mid 80's.

How common was this finish (matt) compared to the black painted ones?

it's not as common as the enamel finished pistols due to enamel paint being much cheaper then matte parkerizing.

then again the pre B model cz75 are themselves getting harder to find because IMO their much better quality then the new B model cz75.

the finish is nicer then the enamel but will wear off quite fast with use (grip from holding it and holster), it won't flake off like the enamel. that's normal.

if i found another Pre B model with matte finish. i'd buy it on the spot.

I had an 85 with the same finish, it does wear but it's much easier to fix than the "tropical" epoxy.
