1986 Japanese Auto 5 with invector choke worth?

12 or 20? Light or Magnum? I've sold 3 Miroku Auto5's in the last few years, a mint Light 20, mint Light Twelve, and a gorgeous as-new Magnum Twelve. All were Invector chokes (the Mag was Invector Plus) and the 2 Lights both had orig boxes. Only the 20 brought that kind of money. The Light Twelve a few hundred less, and the Mag I think was $900. All were listed and sold here on the EE. And I wish I had all of them back.

Looks decent, but definitely not an $1100 gun. TheGunDealer just sold an unfired Miroku A5 Mag12 with box last week for $999 (plus tax obviously), and it was nice. Don't think that's the original pad either, don't ever remember white line pads on the A5's.
 
'bout arff what heez ask'in is the value.
Sold a 3" mag in nicer shape than your interest for six brown ones.
Thought I sold it too cheap, but they are only worth what a dignified
offer is presented.
 
Based on the stand in the picture, this is a gun dealer out of the Toronto area who has dozens and dozens of guns advertised on various sites. I’ve seen comments online that any guns in his area that are reasonably priced by private sellers sell quickly and then show up in his ads at inflated prices. I don’t know first hand if that’s true, but do your own research on the seller!
 
It's a a5!japsn with factory invector chokes and everyone one on here thiks the price is high and yet I have seen eldest they lost there out of production guns for on we and everyone of there's is always at the Vefy yop end of retail plus . That is not a terrible price for that gun 900ish would more in line . What can you buy today for 1000$ stoger auto . Junk akar whatever junk . Mossberg whatever junk most other off shore autos junk weatherby possibly but I would rather have that auto 5 . Buy it shoot it then 5 yrs from now sell and get most of your money back unlike the above mentioned .

Want to say thanks for the advise. I ended up passing on the 86 auto 5 and bought a much better one, at a great price too.

Im about to make a new thread with pictures on exactly what i got.
