1991 Browning Auto-5 3" 12g Duck Unlimited *Never Fired* picked up at auction

I would have to say it's worth more then a k-31, sometimes I don't understand the used market. I remember a couple of years ago rusted out 2 3/4 Belgium's were no less then 900$. With the Jap guns listed in the 1500$ range because they could shoot steel.

You have a nice gun, and be happy you have it if thats what speaks to you. But I believe your initial question was how much is it worth. Based on your response to the value suggested, you wont be happy if you look up the value of s BNIB Auto 5 in any used gun book. And if you dig a little deeper, you wont find an asterick indicating any sort of premium for a DU gun. If you paid more, so be it......you already answered your own question

Like many, I've seen several of these for sale in that 2 thousand dollar mark. Not sold, for sale.

Need to find one of those fools that buys a commemorative winchester and sell them this browning.

Realistically I have seen these go up for sale now and then. They usually sell for $1000, unfired. The new owner usually thinks they got a good deal because how nice they look. They end up not using them because there afraid to lose value. They do there research and end up finding out there not worth what they thought. They end up bored of it as the novelty wears off. They end up putting it up for sale more then it's worth hoping to find someone who really wants it and pays more than its worth. Usually someone that doesn't happen and they end up getting around a grand and the DU dinner gun cycle continues.
