Here is a couple if picks of my first batch of rounds. They are 9mm 124gr montana gold under 4.8gr / 5gr of powder using cci primers.

My question is from the pictures does the rounds seem ok?

Not the best pics but it's the best I can do. I'm using a lee pro 1000 to load the ammo with.

If the primers are flush with the head, or a little lower... and if the OAL is within specs, everything looks fine. Your pictures show your crimp looks just right. The brass wall looks straight, with no bulge at the head or mouth, so you should have no problem with chambering.

yeah my primers are just a little deeper in the case prob by a few thousands, and the oal is set around 1.096 to 1.098

in my lee book and same as online it show a max of 5.3gr under a 124 gr bullet so in theory i should be in the safe zone

I noticed Hodgdons site only shows a 125g FMJ and it states max as 4.4g. I expect its been lawyerized but thats a pretty hefty difference in published data..

"...4.8gr / 5gr of powder..." What powder? 4.8gr / 5gr is ok with some powders, but not all. In any case, you should know exactly how much powder you've put in. The OAL should be the same too. Check the case lengths and trim as required.
That a wee taper crimp? A wee taper crimp is good. Any roll crimp is not with a 9mm.
Take out the barrel and use it as a guage. If the cartridge sits in the chamber properly, you're fine.
You will find shooting jacketed bullets get expensive quickly too.
"...states max as 4.4g..." 6.8 with HS-6 with lower pressure. That's why the powder used is important.

this is the data that is available on the hodgdon website, just copied and pasted :
124 GR. FMJ Winchester WSF .355" 1.169" min4.7gr 1015 27,700 PSI max5.3gr 1115 32,700 PSI

In my lee load book, it shows a min oal of 1.095 for the load and the same powder charges i beleive.

I checked for fun the rounds with my barrel and they fit perfect, i will try play around with the oal to see what the max is for my m&p. trial and error. I will not push the limits of the powder charge tho.

Ah, so now we know the powder. For some reason I was thinking u were using Titegroup but that was another thread. U shud be just dandy..

Don't load to many till you have something that works. Nothing worst that loading up a bunch and havin to take them apart cause the accuracy wasn't there.
