ok guys i picked up brobees 1st adaptor from another member, just want to ask them that have the brobe or the newer one weather yours is cast or milled.
I dont know if its changed much but the one i have seems to be cast not milled , what do you guys think of that?
Allso what kinda finish dd you have on yours, mine looks like some BBQ paint .
on it?
Reason i got it was to see if if the S&J single point plate would work on it, it seems to be a bit off but i have made a mod to it and it fits 100%
if anyone has the new adaptor please pm me some pics of it so i can work out if there are any changes.

I had serial number 6 from the first batch of Brobees. From what I understand they were investment cast and then machined. The coating was either Dura Coat or Brownells Alumnahyde (sp?). Was a nice piece of kit but did not allow me to use my Scattergun ghost ring sights so I sold it.

Wolverine Supplies is selling them now. 126.99 for the adapter and a pistol grip. They are made by another gentleman on this site.
thanks DAR. That is the first order of business when I get my Remmy. Hopefully this fall.

The original and the new ones are both investment cast aluminum. They are then machined to spec from that. The new adapter is made from the exact same mould and drawings as the old one.

As for finish, I am not sure what Brobee used. We have gone through three finishes and have finally settled on a hard black powder coat in matte black that looks great and is super durable. This coating was not used on our first batch of adpaters, but it was used on our full length rails.
