1st RIA range trip

Got a chance to take my new Rock Island Armory out for it's first trip to the range.
Put 230 rounds through it with no problems what so ever. Gun shoots and feels great.
I used every old 1911 mag I had lying around, they all fed just fine. For less than $700 bucks landed at my door I'm really happy with it.

Yep, it is the Tactical. I managed to put 50 rounds through it today and it was a load of fun to shoot. I'm still a pretty bad shot with a pistol so I can't really attest to how well it shoots but it felt good :)

I wish I could say I am "Wild Bill Hickok" with a handgun but I now do fairly well. I am not joking when I say: "In the beginning I couldn't hit the broadside of a barn from the inside!" One trick I have learned is shoot your handguns with the heaviest trigger pulls first and then shoot your tuned handguns. If you do this in the opposite order it will seem to take forever for the trigger to break. Regards, Richard:D
