after 6 long months of trying for the perfect score I finally did it today with my brand spankin new 1100 sporting 28 from epps. what a great feeling when you look at low 8 with 2 shells left in your pocket. there was only 2 of us when i did it so we are going to shoot the hat tomorrow when there are more of around to celebrate it. looking forward to doing this again with another gauge or with this one again, hope it doesn't take as long as the first one.

thanks, how's the charger

i like the browning 28, i don't shoot it as much with the mod choke, i'm not that good i need more of an open choke to run them. bet your looking forward to the good weather to get that charger out of the garage more often. did you get rid of that berreta auto?

After shooting with him for all this time, I finally threw 25 perfect targets for him. Now I get to shoot his hat.
I was glad to be shooting with you when you did it. WTG Craig.:shotgun:

Congratulations on the first of what I'm sure will be many straights.

I'm with Brad ... the first " 25-straight" in Skeet probably has the steepest learning curve. ( Gee, lot's of things to remember besides focussing on that target) . The first 100 straight, both in practice & in competition wasn't that tough or that far behind. Tough ? ... running 100 in 410 ! ( or really tough, in "Sporting" ! )

You'll know you're getting the hang of it when all the targets look like garbage can lids instead of aspirins, and the Referee has to tell you that you have another target left to shoot ... when you try to walk off the pad after breaking the target at Low 8 ... :D

Well, my wife got to drive the Charger today (bummer #1), and she got caught in the rain with it (bummer #2). Oh well, had to happen sooner or later (both the wife driving it and the car getting rained on!). As for the Beretta, it's heading out to BC. My once beautiful collection is now dwindling. But on the brighter side, I can do 0-60 in 4.8 seconds now!!!
