2 3/4" mag grizzly...or really 3" ???

So When I bought the mag grizz it was advertised as 2 3/4" I see a stamp on the underside of the barrel that is stamped 3-1. Does this mean it is really made for 3" shells?

A 3" shell cycles through good, but not sure if it will fire correctly.

Can you let me know if it really is 3"

I think its 3 shells in mag + 1 chamber . Im pretty confident its only meant for 2 3/4 shells.

Really? Then why does it say 2 3/4"(at least in the picture on the website)?

Because the mags only work reliably with 2-3/4".

I have used 3 inch 000 buck in mine with no problems.

Also just went out today and fired 5 rounds of 3 inch magnum rifled slugs. No problems.

Mine says that as well. Not wanting to trust my life to words on a screen, I took my barrel down to a gun smith that I know and had him drop his shell length gauge in it. 3 inch. Check yours if your hesitant. Can't hurt to have someone check it.
