Does anyone find there pumps that fit 3" feed the 3" shells better than the 2 3/4" shells ?

is what i mean is when your shooting fast with 2.3/4 shells ive noticed on more than just one gun the rounds will either jam or fly right outa the gun b4 there shot. anyone know what im talking about and have this happen much with 3" shots in the same gun?

I have an 870 Express Magnum that takes either 2 3/4 or 3". I haven't noticed a difference. Have you broke yours in yet? New shotguns could have issues like this before they "loosen up" a bit.

If you have less than 500 rounds down the pipe, put 500 rounds through, and if it's still happening then it's a problem. Until then, it's not really broken in. My Super Magnum Express Remington, took about that long before it smoothed out.

cool thats realy good to know. I was asking because it was the issue with both a friends tomahawk and my mossberg 500. both shotguns are brand new pretty much. It didant happen a ton or anything but did happen. we tought maby it was because of the 2-3/4 shells.

thx for the help :)

I have Mossberg Semi Auto 3 1/2", use it all the time at range with 2 3/4"
shells, No problem at all.
Clean your gun properly, repeat properly and use only New Ammo
